In my work, I explore ideas of self-acceptance and authenticity. I focus on the experience of feeling disconnected from reality and lonely in the everyday world. I invite viewers to embrace the parts of ourselves that don’t fully fit into social norms, that are often rejected or marked as “different.” Through my paintings, I create visual worlds that hold space for this otherworldliness and invite viewers to reconnect with their inner, mystical nature.
